The Lush Kilima is constantly evolving and undergoing tweaks and improvements. The new 2009 model is the result of many years of rider feedback and testing. Construction is a mixture of tried and tested maple for a strong, responsive ride and walnut for stunning looks.
The new shape includes a number of key features to enhance performance. Wider shoulders mean you can get right over the front trucks for added stability. Sharp rails give better grip and traction in fast, tight corners. Improved wheel cut outs mean less wheel bite and the ability to run looser trucks and bigger wheels. The long tail has been cut down to give the board a more streamlined feel.
The drop through truck mounting still features in the latest model, allowing the board to sit slightly lower than a regular top mount deck. This increases stability, gives a more solid ride and makes foot breaking and sliding easier.
